If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably made your home at lastminute hotel and resort. It’s not that you procrastinate. Okay , maybe some of it is that you procrastinate just a little bit, but there’s other factors like diligence to the last second, life, food…etc that get in the way. When it comes to traveling, these habits sometimes bite us in the you know where. So no matter how late you’re running, make sure you do the following three things before you leave for that flight.
1. Check in, check in, check in. Check in for your flight before you actually go to the airport. This way, you get to pick a seat(depends on airline), get to sleep in a little bit, and get to feel the pride that comes with smiling at the ticketing counter when the personnel compliment you for being prepared.
2. Check out: check out your destination before you leave. I know you’re probably wondering, “why will I do that if I booked a ticket for the place?”. But, doing this not only makes you happy but also prepared. Is the weather still sunny or is there a storm warning? Are berets still a fashion item or did the city finally come to it’s senses (I am looking at you Paris)? What’s the political climate, health climate, etc. An extra sense of quick assurance and education will make your flight even more delightful, and your first steps in the destination … bolder.
3. Check-List. Okay so maybe I tricked you with the three short things. But come on, it’s a packing list of all the essentials you need. It’s super short and to the point, perfect for your last minute suitcase frenzy. Click on the image below free of charge for all the essentials to remember as you fly high. You don’t want to be that person asking to borrow shoes/cash/etc on your vacation.
